Halo Infinite

Not a fan of the open-world idea for Halo. The narrative experience evaporates when the carefully crafted missions and cutscenes from previous games are missing. The multiplayer was good for a bit, but 343 has struggled immensely with progression systems (Master Chief Collection being the exception) in their games. I had little reason to keep coming back after that first season if I weren’t spending money on the battle pass. I had the full game for God’s sake, and I still have to pay for nearly all available in-game cosmetics? If the multiplayer experience of this game wasn’t so adjacent to such a miserable cash grab, I would have rated it higher.
