Baldur's Gate III

One of the best games I've ever played. Rarely is a game able to make it feel like your choices actually mean something (and then actually affect the story). It's probably one of the most replay-able games out there due to the varying outcomes. Larian did an incredible job of making this game feel like playing D&D, from the combat to how encounters are set up, especially during act 1. The game is well-written, characters are interesting. I like the story. The music is well-composed, but personally I felt like a lot of it was forgettable (it has its bangers). I would say that you can feel a difference in quality and polish from act 1 to act 3 (not that act 3 isn't well done, just that the first is so good) which makes sense given the extensive playtesting. Several encounters in act 3 just are not fun. I'm excited to go and play other games from this studio and look forward to whatever they do in the future. Edit: I was too harsh on the soundtrack, it's really good just not top top tier
