Fire Emblem: Thracia 776

Notoriously the most difficult Fire Emblem game. I'd probably stand by that. It's a very fair game though- in that every mechanic that is available to the enemy or to you is available for the other. Really cool map design with many of them having multiple phases to them. Having every stat (including movement) hard cap at 20 was a neat idea- I enjoyed the stats being on a smaller scale. Story is really good and Leif is arguably the best written protagonist in the series. However the game explains almost nothing about how a lot of the mechanics work and some of the map mechanics are very mean and poor game design (call it a relic of its time).
